View Full Version : How much could I sell Cupra 16" alloys and tyres for ?
I'm just about to place my order for a Leon Cupra (once I've finally made my mind up between black and yellow!)... but the one thing I really HATE about the car is those bloody spoke-effect alloys...
Can anyone give me an idea how much I could get for the wheels+tyres if I pull them straight of the car as soon as I take delivery...and where would be the best place to advertise them ????

Not only do they look kack and your not the only one thats going to replace them... me too. They're also a complete pain in the arse to clean. Advertise them here in the for sale forum. There's bound to be somebody with a 1.4s or a TDi that wants a set of 16"ers to liven it up. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/rolleyes.gif

i was wondering if any alloys bought at the dealer means that they take your standards 16"s and sell them on? >> as i dont wanna pay for the dark 17 O.Z at the dealer and find they run off with my standard wheels.. as i should be able to make a few 100quid off them.

Why don't you keep them for winter (saves your new wheels getting attacked by all the grit/salt/sh** they put on the roads at that time of year, or even better .......... trackday use!
If you still want to get rid, I sold my std Ibiza 20vt wheels for about £320 with 1,500 miles use on them.

Typical.....I posted on EVO forum, Scoobynet forum, and SEATCUPRA.NET (in both Leon AND Wanted Sections) looking for a set of 20VT multispokes mid-June......no response from anywhere (apart from Lee, but there were complications....!)
Anyway....you're too late!
PS - would think £500 is easily achievable if they are brand new.
