hi all i have a 97 1.4 beeza ,the heater fan after being intermitent for a while has completely packed up now, because it was intermitent i feel it is not a fuse issue ,i have partly stripped dash & checked wiring & earth they look ok.all that is left in my mind is the motor or resistor, can anyone tell me how to tell if any of these is the problem?

I had a problem with my heater motor because of water getting in and where the wires plug in to it is a pull out resistor pack thingy. Unplug it and pull it out and check it, it might be that!

Mine was only a problem after I realised it was leaking through the hole the heater motor sits in and rusted the motor until it finally burnt out!! Got a new one and realised the resistor pack was also buggered! I was driving around for ages with a huge leak and no interior - at one point I mopped out enough water to fill a bucket!

Glad you sorted it.
