Hi there, im in need of a new clutch and wondered if you could give me a quote .. the car is
1999 - 2002 MK3 Ibiza TDI Sport 110 bhp (standard)
Engine code ASV

Looking for an upgraded clutch thats good for 300 - 350 lb/ft (car running about 180 BHP)
Ive heard a VR6 clutch will fit but dont know myself for sure!

And also if you can fit one what would the price be if i supplied the parts?

Kind Regards

Didnt want to fill your threads up with posts so ill ask in here, the prices on the online store, are they including VAT and fitted or just parts only? Reason i ask is i need some new brakes aswell and you have a good price on the website and i will probably get you to order me some in very soon!

Thanks! (sorry for all the questions!!)

Hi Simon,

All prices on the website are excluding VAT and are for the parts only. Fitting costs for any parts can be obtained by contacting us.

Regarding the clutch, we can supply a SACHS performance clutch for the ibiza, again details can be found here: http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/clutch-seat.htm

The cost of the clutch kit with new release bearing is £618.90 inc VAT

You may or may not need a new Dual Mass flywheel depending on the current wear on your existing clutch.

This is an additional £350.31 inc VAT

The cost to fit a clutch kit either a SACHS Performance clutch supplied by us or a clutch kit supplied by you is £225 plus VAT - £264.38 inc VAT

Hope this helps
Kind Regards

thanks kate, the other question ive got is i had a little accident recently, the sump was cracked pretty badly and what i believe is the crankshaft oil seal on the gearbox side needs changing. Ive already replaced the sump but the 2 bolts that go in right next to the gearbox now have nothing to bolt into as the plastic seal has smashed to bits!! When the gearbox is out can you replace this and refit my sump? What additional cost would i be looking at?? Oh and last thing! How long would you need the car? Its off the road at the mo as i cant drive it but its in a garage just round the corner from you guys!! Thanks for your help!!

Hi Simon,

This shouldn't be too much of an issue to replace at the same time. We would need to have a good look to see exactly what is needed and then we can provide you with the cost from there.

Depending on the availablity of the parts I would say we would only need the car for a couple of days tops

Kind Regards
Kate
