As you know, we have been running some calendar wallpaper, which appears to be popular.
Ideally we have been trying to use some dynamic or abstract shots. However, this isnt always possible as we have to cater for 1280x1024 pixel images, which limits us taking a small section of an image for example
So, I was thinking, what would you like improved on the calendar. I've realised that its better to have the logo and calendar to the right hand side to allow for documents. What other features?
Would you like BTCC dates highlighted for example. Maybe the calendar is too big etc, maybe you'd like more or less arty/abstract images.
In an ideal world I'd like to run shots like this

but its not always possible.
lastly if you do download the largest size 1280x1024, please advise

Long term, I'm also looking at a screensaver and maybe some wallpaper of certain models without the calendar, but this will be when I'm not so busy :D
I'm easy - I like them all.
I don't run screensavers anywhere - so not personally worried
perhaps week numbers? I use them a lot

I use them at work which is generally 1024x768.
At home it's 1600x1200 so I doubt you'll be able to cater for that ;) :p

I use some of the images as the background on my pocket PC, so I'd like them created so I can crop the image to portrait, concentrating on some strong graphical element (like the yellow Ibiza grille above)
But a suggestion:
why dont you run a competition to get the members to submit their own arty pics for inclusion in the calendar? I'm sure its hard enough getting decent images so a little help would surely be useful - i know I would be up for it!
we dont have problems with most cars as we have Press access with SEAT (and Skoda for that matter :D ) Normally the problem is that other pictures arent crystal clear, or you cant be certain of the copyright.
..however we would welcome suggestions and submissions. Just must be at least 1600 so we can crop and manipulate, be crystal clear and be nice composition with good lighting(so no McDonalds carpark behind!)

I use 1280 x 1024. Week numbers would be dead handy as mentioned above. As a general thing - more motorsport oriented images please! Not that I don't use the concepts and/or publicity shots of showroom models, I just happen to quite like motorsport. I know i've asked before but is there any chance of an F2 Ibiza sometime? If I had a decent qulaity image, then naturally i'd send it on, but sadly I don't...
Thats something I was looking for a decent Ibiza rally shot, but the archieve on the press site doesnt go back that far, so if anyone has one, then email it to me and we'll include it in a future calendar.
PLEASE, it must be copyright free, so either a press pic or one you have taken yourself.
Its a hard balancing act between road cars, concepts and motorsport really, Not sure if we have the balance right? With this month, I think that makes it four motorsport pics, two concepts and three roadcars.
Anyway, thats what this topic is for, if we have 30 people wanting Alhambra TDi's then we'll have to cater for that :) - i dont want to do more than 1 for a month though
