Knocking Sound Sorted! Get in....

Well I have had this issue for the past 5 months! I get a constant popping/knocking noise coming from the drivers side front corner. Stealers have said they can't find anything wrong!!!:wtf::censored::cry:

Anyway I serviced my car last night, and rocked the engine back and fourth whilst under the bonnet, and I noticed a clicking sound coming from the engine mount (Top Left) so pushed the engine to one side (Near side), filled engine mount with kitchen roll to dampen it and hey presto! It's bloody stopped! The car feels so much better now... :funk:

At least I can now go back to the stealers and point out what is causing it!!! :funk:[B)]

I fixed mine by sliding into a kerb in the ice, new wishbone and bushes and hey presto! Possibly a less expensive way would have been better!

any chance of putting some pics up as to where I need to put the kitchen roll. I don't have a clue where the engine mount is.

i had a knocking noise aswell, new wishbone and bushed also worked for me :D
