hello jim,
Could you answer a little question for me ?
I just thought i'd ask you what oil you would recommend for my mk1 2006 seat leon fr pd150 because i'm going to do a service on her in a week or two and then possibly down to you guys for a remap.

Also what sort of notice would you need for a remap ?
Would you give me a discount as i know you (studied together) and as i'm on here as well ?
I read some where you can put a 5 hour taster map on. Is this true ?
Plus with the switch you can get with the revo can you turn it on and off anytime you like ? i.e. sat at the lights ect

Many Thanks

Hi Andi,

This is Kate @ JKM here.

If your car is serviced on a yearly schedule or every 10k then the oil you need to use in your leon is Platinum Oil it is a 5w40 grade. Available from us, VW, Seat etc. If it is serviced as a longlife schedule, so every 2 years or 20k then you will need you use a longlife oil grade, for example castrol SLXIII 0w30.

Regarding the remap we will need just a few days notice to remap teh car. You can wait with it while the remap is installed. Usually takes about 45minutes to an hour.
The cost is £349.00 plus VAT = £410.08 inc VAT

The switch is a seperate item which you can purchase direct from REVO at a reduced cost within 28 days of purchasing a map. The switch can be used to turn the vehicle back to stock if required and then again back to mapped when needed. This needs to be done when the vehicle is not running, so at the start or end of a journey. Not at traffic ligths as you say as you will need to turn the car off and the process take about 30 secs to complete.

Hope this helps.
Kind Regards
Kate
