Rear Compartment Supplementary Heater?

Can anyone confirm whether or not the Alhambra has the extra heater in the back like the Galaxy and Sharan (I think it's a diesel burner or something because on my sisters Galaxy it whines like a jet engine shutting down when she switches off the engine!) I guess it would be behind the rear nearside wing above the wheel arch.

Sorry for the late reply - just got PC back together.
The Alhambra has the rear heater same as Galaxy/Sharan. Hope this helps.

Yes it will have one. Look under the n/s of the car just in front of the wheel arch.

You'll see a little exhaust pointing inwards, thats for the 'secondary heater'.

If you ever get smoke from under there and/or a diesel smell its packed up, quite a common fault.

Anyone know how it works? Like I said, it sounds like a mini jet engine on the Galaxy!:)
