View Full Version : Toledo clutch pedal
Just bought a 2000 Toledo TDI. When releasing the clutch and letting the pedal travel back up, the pedal seems to stick at the last 1" or so from rest, then suddenly frees and comes fully up. Doesn't happen every time. Any ideas before I start digging around?
Has anyone got any input on this one??
I've done a search on here and the impression I'm getting is that the prob. is a syptom of worse to come! Would be nice to have an inkling of what may be about to happen...............
Cheers
Sounds like the 'ol Clutch Master Cylinder problem. Have a search on the Leon forums for this, and you should get quite a lot of info.;)
Thanks Phil, I did trawl through before posting. I'll have another go.
Strange thing is, it mostly happens when my wife drives it. Something to do with her letting the clutch out slowly. derrrrrrr
