Hi Guy's,

Can you give me an idea of price for the following,

20k service ( car is 2 1/2years old and has covered erm 20k)
Its bluefine stg1 and has a green panel filter if it makes any difference.

Could you also confirm pricing for the following,

Supply & fit short shift kit
torque insert
dogbone mount
check & adjust tracking - 4 wheel

thats if any of the above are worth carrying out.

Torque Arm Insert - £27.16 or £31.76 depending on which bush type is currently on the car.
4 Wheel Laser Alignment (Beissbarth) - £60

Dog bone mount? Can you confirm this? As this is usually the torque arm insert?

Which short shifter were you interested in?

sorry, been on me hols :) short shift, which do you reccomend ? as for the torque insert maybe i've got it wrong but i thought it was possible to change 2 parts .. something like ..

again i'm happy to go for just the torque insert if you think thats enough. Is it worth changing the plugs at this stage or would that be included ?

hi kev, out of interest how busy are you, the car will need a service in the next 800 miles, oh being a SEAT they don't use longlife intervals if that makes any difference. any day of the week is fine providing a courtesy car is available ... or you collect & deliver, i'm in stamford :)

Hi Steve,

Fairly busy, but we can get you in somewhere :) I can drop a courtesy car off and bring your car into work if you'd prefer?

Without longlife oil the service is £200 inc VAT, if however you'd like to substitute the long life oil for fresh spark plugs we'll do that for the £230 inc VAT.

I'd recommend just doing the main torque arm insert and see how you get on.

Did you want the laser alignment doing too?

Hi kev,

Thats fine, service with plugs is good, not sure if you want to check the cam follower too ? also the tracking + main torque insert. The short shift kit i might leave for the time being since i need to get some tyres :)

How does Wednesday 17th sound Steve? I can collect your car around 8-8:30am and drop back off around 6-6:30pm.

No problem so work is as follows...

20K Service with fixed servicing oil, new OE plugs. Check FP follower - £230
Main torque arm insert - £27 or £31
Laser alignment - £60

When it's all done i'll call to take payment details then can bring the invoice when i drop the car off and collect the courtesy car.

Thats fine, i'll dig out the service book ... where ever that is ! i'll give you a call at work to give you the address to collect it from, also do you need a copy of my liecence or anything for the courtesy car ?

No that's no problem. Our company policy covers anyone in our courtesy cars and also staff, of course :)

Hi Kevin,

I forgot to mention, the car says that the front indicator doesn't work, it does its just the the housing within the headlght turns not sure if its broke or me .... i'm probably going to get seat to try and repair it under warrany but if its a simple fix go for it. I've had to run a cable from the side indicator to get it to work. Also i'm in a trainng meeting from 11 to 1 today so if you do ring i might not answer straight away, i'm not great in the mornings !
