Hi everyone, thanks for the welcome.

Chris, the Millers oils are going well. Sold loads of them so far and are getting asked for different ones on a regular basis. Got other brands if you don't fancy taking work home though :P

What's your opinion of Prolong oil? Hype or genuinely good? I see Roger Clark are using it.

From what I can see about their oil, there is nothing special about it, except the price. The warranty they offer is very tricky to qualify for if you read through it. I'll ask someone who knows a bit more and get back to you.

After having a bit of a browse, I did come across this

I'm really impresed with our progress at Millers. As i'm in charge of QA/QC testing I'll be sticking with Millers as I have 100% confidence in the quality........do I get a discount? :-p

Of course you get discount but surely you can get a better deal from the source[B)] I am also very impressed with millers current range of oils, and where they are going. No doubt they are putting themselves among the best.

I also like the Millers plant, cool place. All that gravity feeding:blink:

No doubt you were amazed by our Lab too, all that equipment that no one knows how to use haha.

From what i've been told we are very well technically equiped, once we get our new Lab built you will have to come visit.......you can drool over all the gravity fed blenders again. :)

Not too sure on the oil itself, the Pro Long additive that has been around for years was a chlorinated parafin. If this additive is in the oil then something I would stay away from.

Didn't think it was any good, so I am baffled as to why Roger Clark Motorsport use it, they are meticulous in everything they do. They said that after an engine strip down Prolong was found to show the least engine wear?

Most likely because Roger Clark motorsport cars only run for a day before draining and filling with brand new oil.

If you were to use this oil for weeks/months then the chlorinated paraffins would break down and cause corrosion/wear.

I think Chris has the answer. After hearing certain things, I'm not sure that Roger Clarkes know as much as they should about oil
