Nothing i doubt, its just Milltek call theirs a HiFlow, cause really thats what a Sports CAT must do, flow better than the restrictive standard ones.

LOL

So it's more of a trade name that anything else, as the Jabba site has the sports cat 300+bhp as an option for the IHI conversion.

So has the Milltek one got a maximum rating or will it be similar to the Jabba one at 300+bhp, i wouldn't want to be spending this sort of money to find out later that its limited to 300 when IHI is going to be 360+bhp

As I understand it is to do with the cats core density.A sport cat has a lighter density enabling faster gas flow through the box(oo err).
Suppose its a similar principle to a sports air filter which is less restrictive

How many cells are in the Miltek one?
Metal matrix I presume?

Jabba's is used on Golfy and ibiza.... so 400bhp is fine and MOT emissions (Golfy) were ok too.

Balance will be between cat dwell time and cell density... vs flowrate of course.

Around 100 - 200 cells per square inch according to their website, in the HiFlow CAT's
