Hi, reading VW Vortex APR are now doing deals on their pumps, basically a reduced price on swapping pumps, will that reduction in price reach our shores?
Also I have read alot of things about your company and you guys seem to be the most highly regarded for 2.0TFSI diagnostics.
Basically, I and what seems to be most stage 2 plus members on this site seem to suffer a flat spot at around 5200rpm, and no one really knows why its doing it, and im getting fed up with it and want a solution, so was wondering if you guys would be able to take this on and hopefully diagnose/advise? Maybe you guys have comes across this before, but it seems to be a widespread issue!

APR do an rebuild pump service where by they will fit APR internals into your original pump, however this can take up to 6 weeks to turn around and most customers do not want to be without there car for this long. Also it is reccomended that you keep your existing pump so you can refit it at a later date if you wish to sell the car on as standard?
Regarding fault finding, we are happy to take a look at the car for you. It will need to be booked in and left with us to investigate further. We charge £50 plus VAT an hour for workshop diagnostic and £70 plus VAT an hour for dyno time needed during diagnostics.

I have two pumps so that wouldnt be an issue for me, just wondering whether the discounted rate applies for the UK aswell.
Do you guys do saturday diagnostics? Its just that im from London, if not suppose I could spend a couple days down portsmouth

Thats ideal if you have 2 pumps the cost for a rebuild on one of your existings pump is £598.08 inc VAT

Diagnostics is only carried out during the week. Most of our customers who have issues which need a little more investigation than normal, drop the car off on a Saturday and catch the train back to London (train station 5 min walk away) and then collect the following Saturday.
