I had my car on the rolling road at star performance at the weekend, my car is a (standard) 16V Cupra on a P plate with 60k miles. I was expecting the power to be roughly standard, so i was well pleased to see that it was a good bit above standard!
BHP (at flywheel) : 162.5
BHP (at Wheels) : 117
Torque : 141 lbf-ft
I have scanned in the dyno plot, but it is a wee bit faint. Have a look anyway.

Why is it though that I keep seeing losses of 45-50 bhp when AmD reckoned I was/am losing 27.6 bhp.
At my last two rolling road sessions I've got 148/149 (can't remember) and 154, both at the wheels. This would mean that I have about 175 - 180 bhp at the flywheel, which is the estimation I was given before the work was done.

Dunno mate,
Jim at star reckoned that was the average loss for my car, infact he himself was impressed at the result, he did point out that the transmission loss would be larger if you had for example a sticky caliper.

Hopefully I'll get on the rollers at Powerstation, and we'll see what they reckon. I'll also have another 24 cars to compare against.
