Does anyone else get juddering from the front wheels when they hit around 60-80, it aint the wheel balancing (Ive also had the tracking done). It looks like the left hand tyre is wearing unevenly on the outside so i presume thats causing it to judder. anyone know of another cause cos its starting to get annoying on motorway driving :head:
Have you had the camber aligned? More expensive, but by far teh best way of lunching tyres if it's wrong
Also - what was the tracking set to? and how did they measure it?
other things to consider:
Tyre Pressures equal?
Wheel bolts secured?
lumpy tyres

By wearing unevenly I take it you mean there is more wera on the outer left tyre edge than anywhere else?
It might well be balancing eg one of your weights might have come off or possibly even the brake disc; but judging by the uneven tyre wear - I think you've found your most likely culprit.

yes it is on the outer edge. it dont think the weight has come off the wheel though, it vibrates for too long, usually if its wheel balancing it only lasts between 70 - 75mph for example.
I get uneven tyre wear on my passenger side front tyre too, although i haven't experienced the juddering you mention.
I will be getting my tracking looked at soon, when i get a new trye on.
