View Full Version : Fitting N75J to ibiza20vt
Please help anyone in the know ???
I've got an N75J valve ready to be fitted sitting in my house, I know its easy to fit but just want to know which way round to fit it?? on VW vortex they say that the J valve is back-to-front compared to the 'C' or 'H' and to fit it 180degrees compared to the standard one so that the electrical conection faces towards the back of the car instead of the front but havent heard that said on seatcupra.net?
I want to get it right because i know it causes boost loss if you get it wrong?
Cheers all...
on both valves there's 2 short pipes and 1 long. put the "j" in with the pipes orientated the same way. this will mean that the electrical socket is now facing the other way, but your cable should still reach.
the important thing is the pipes are the same orientation

Is it worth while fitting one of these on a standard beeza 20VT?

Hybrid, i got one on mine, so you can have a look at meet, and can give ya a hand, otherwise if ya itching then buy some spare jubilee clips for the hoses as the oem ones are a bugger to get off and usually snap! But mine went on same as the old
side show turbo: you should see a benefit on stock car yes... usually 1/2psi increase in boost
Cheers all
Got the jubilee clips already, i came prepared after reading about them on the forum, was going to fit it on the weekend but didnt know which way to put it!! So it goes in the same way as standard with regards to the length of the pipes but the electrical conection just happens to face the other way! nice one lads.
Cheers

dunno, didnt notice electrical bit, but i put mine in the same way as stock (mechanically and piping wise)
then you can't have a "J"
to all people who didn't notice an imporovement with a N75 "J": did you put it on the right way round?
there is a thread on this on vwvortex, i will try and locate it
ahh just seen your spec :) you have a "H" not a "J"
i believe the "H" is orientated the same as stock...
that clears that up...
