View Full Version : Getting hold of VAG 1551 / 1552
I see a few people have got VAG 1551 (or similar) diognostic thingies, are these something Jo Bloogs can buy, or an equivelent, or is it trade only???
They're using the ross-tech software.
Can't remember the url ~ it's a couple of hundred dollars from memory..........
Somebody help me out.
Is that on a std PC with an interface cable?

I use this with my laptop and the serial lead(s) supplied. It cost $199 including the leads, and delivery door to door was 3 days flat! (ordered Saturday on line, and arrived Tuesday morning)

Euro Car Parts also do some diagnostic tools (standalone devices), although I don't know if they have a 1551 or 1552 compatible device. Could be worth a look though?
