Hi, i bought a pair of kw top mounts from you a few months back to fit my golf mk4 1.8T.

I just got round to fitting them only to find one of my front shock on my fk coilovers is leaking oil!! so i didn't fit the kw top mounts in the end and put the car back together, as i'll be needing new suspension now and might as well fit the top mounts at the same time as fitting the new suspension.

Can you give me a price on KW v2 coilovers for a golf mk4 1.8t 2000?

Also can you give me separate prices on :

fitting the coilovers?
fitting on the top mounts?
setting top mounts up with 4 wheel alignment?

Reason i ask is i may fitt the kit myself and just get the top mounts/alignment set up.

Thanks

Hiya,

KW V2 coil overs come out at V2 Basic (Galvanized) - £941.61 OR V2 Inox (Stainless) - £1033.75 *Both prices inc. VAT

To be honest we'd be better off doing the whole job, as if you fit the suspension we'd only have to remove the front legs legs again.

To do the whole job, inc fitting suspension, top mounts and 4 wheel alignment it'd be £190 inc VAT

To just fit the top mounts it'll be £78

Then the setup and 4wheel alignment is £60

Thanks
Kevin

Thanks for the quick reply...

Do you hold stock of the kw v2's?

I'm just waiting to hear back from a few other places on quotes for the kw v2's inox, either way i'll be popping in for it to be set-up by yourselfs.

Quick question, is it worth paying the extra for the kw v3's?? Just wondered what benefit i would get from the v3's over the v2's?

I run my golf as low as possible, so my setup is more for looks than performance but still like it to handle well.

Cheers

Hi,

We dont, but can get them in fairly quick.

V2's offer height and rebound adjustment, V3's offer Height, Rebound and Bump adjustment.

I suppose it comes down to how much adjust-ability you want. If you're running quite low you'll need some damper adjustment so you can stiffen it up.
