Guys
I've just bought a second hand Leon Cupra R and am picking it up and Saturday from Hollis Motors (Seat Dealer). Are there any things that are commonly wrong that I should look out for?
Cheers

Dave

Someone recently mentioned taking the other half or a mate - if the salesperson knows that there is something amiss (perhaps a scratch, scrape etc) he may try to move you away from it. Also 4 eyes are better than two for spotting any problems.

Make sure spare keys are there along with ALL documentation.
Make sure ALL electrics work
Ask where the SPS3 module is:p

Agree with Big Ali H take a mate/partner along who is preferably clued up about cars. Get them to check it over for you while you're doing the paperwork.

Mate did that for me when I picked up my new cupra a few months ago. Luckily the only thing he found was that the polishing guy must have used a whole container cos every small gap etc was caked in polish! What a dumbass.

Agree with the above. Try and pick the car up in the daylight as well. When I picked up my new Cupra it was 4pm but it was almost pitch black. When I went out to view the car it was not a very good light for spotting scratches.

Like people have said , look around for paint blemishes etc..

Also double check that you have a warranty and how long it is valid for etc... at least you have some come back with a warranty on things that go wrong.
