Hi Oilman,

my LCR box tends to whine a bit, not loads jsut enough to annoy me, on my previous cars i used to stick redline MT90 in to solve that and smooth the gear changes.

Is there anything comparable to this that would help?

have read on here that MT90 isnt suitable for the box.

Any help would be grand

No idea why the MT90 isn't suitable, the original spec for the car was 75w-90 GL4 which is exactly what MT90 is. Alternatively, go for the MTL, which is a 70w-80. After a while VW/Seat changed their factory fill to 75w-80 GL4, but 70w-80 is also fine. You can use either 75w-90 or 70w/75w-80 according to our information.
