It must be for the data for the screen. The radio displays all the air con etc info on the screen in the dash, I guess this cable is where it gets the data from..

that top 1 is 4 ur cd changer lead.
u should have a lead that goes 2 it that conects changer 2 head unit.
don't know if this is the same on foreign cars (i've seen sum leon's without changer leads, but they were imports)
