View Full Version : Leon boost gauge installation guide
I have written a guide on installing a boost gauge in your Leon, find it here:
Leon boost gauge installation guide (http://www.rd20vturbo.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/boostgauge.html)
Hope it is of some help.
Really nice guide. Good thing as I'll be doing mine soon...:D
Having done the install myself, I too would say this is an excellent guide, well done! Would have saved me some time!
I'm sure, with your permission, Z will add it to the guides on the main site too.
Yep no problem at all if you want us to host it for you? Or i'll just link it on the site. By all means, super guide wish id had it when we were doing mine for the first time it would of saved us hassle for sure :)
Whatever you want, if you want to host it and make an official guide then no problem. Glad to help.
Once the new site is built i'll add a link to it, in a guides section, for the time being it'll get more noticed in here.
love the scoth locks sure your dlr would love to see the fitted ever thought of solder and heat shrink?? tends to work better, looks better, and is a stronger joint.
only suggestions
Erm ... I think my dealer would notice the boost gauge first!!! I love scotch locks too, much handier than solder and heatshrink which I use at my work every day! Looks better - behind the dash, LOL. :D
Thanks for the feedback though. ;)
Do you know if the pillar pod will be the same for the toledo?
and where did you get you gauges from as im haviing trouble finding any..:)

i used both guides when fitting mine so thanks guys.
my leon a little different as no spare grommet where there should have been just a large white box??? went in with the bonnet release cable in the end. no leaks
wouldnt have had the confidence to try this installation without pabs and robdons guides. ive just done oil temp too
robdons website has moved, dont know the url now tho...

used pabs guide today was spot on mate.only thing i had to do different was guide the boost pipe through the wiring loom rubber as there wasn't a grommit on my car.spot on though mate
glad it helped mate. At least my guides are getting some use :D
oh and it's the grey and blue wire for the positive mate as you couldn't remember :)
lol thanks. Can't be bothered to update my guide now - and will forget by the time I do! hehe
