Hello Damian
I'm in a need of some advice I've been through the forum but I'm still not decided what to go for... My dampers are on a way so I thought when I'm on a case I might get my LCR lowered as well... :D Nothing major I was thinking about 15-20mm of actual drop tops.
From what I've seen it's not that easy to get a level drop and I would not be impressed with back end being lower than the front like on some projects here...

So my questions start here: Makes the H&R 20mm kit car evenly slammed being a right kit for the car? (Not like the others which are suitable for more/whole range of Leons)
And also what shocks should I get to match the springs?

What about this Spax kit:

Would it fit the LCR and what drop I should expect, coz I really liked the idea of being able to adjust dampening (I've heard SPAX are a bit on the stiff side) to my liking...

Or is there any alternative for SPAX PSX kit which is made for LCRs?

I'd rather not go for the coilovers because of maintnance/too many settings/comfort/don't really slamming it that much...etc

I would welcome any ideas on what springs/shocks to get for my car as You know better what should make the car handle better while keeping it a bit comfy. And could U get me the numbers for the kits and plus some top mounts to go with it as well Thanks

It's OKay if I don't make much sense I'm foreign. :D

Morning,

The H&R springs will give you a more level stance but personally I like slightly nose down on the LCR.

The Spax kit doesn't fit the LCR but another option that is very popular and also one of the best available is the KW 50mm/40mm kit which will give around a 30mm/20mm drop to yours.

If you want something damping adjustable then the only option for the LCR would be coilovers.

Hello Damian
I thought Spax would fit LCR as well because I've seen it listed on some webpages for the R as well but I've learnt it might not be all true what some companies say..

Are these 50front/40rear KWs progressively wound and what are they made of? I was a bit worried if 30/20 ain't gonna be too low for my car as here's too many speed bumps and what is the ride like (stiff, comfy, bumpy)
I know too many questions, but I'd like to choose the best for ma money if U know what I mean (((:

And also could You get me a price posted with top mounts as well please

Spax don't mention that it fits the LCR and we've never fitted one so I wouldn't be able to say for sure weather it would fit or not.

The KW springs are progressively wound and made of steel and provide a slightly stiffer ride whilst still retaining comfort with good damping rate.

Where would you need the kit posted to?

For just springs £9.95 or for the full KW kit it would be free.
