I assume tubby means chassis yes? It is an Audi Coupe chassis what you lads call the S2 in the UK. We only got them in North America with a 2.3 NA 20V motor , not the turbo lump , or V6 lump or the 16V lump.
it was an impressive car with an impressive but the motor did not last too long due to a mis shift causing an 11,000+ rpm over rev and connecting rod exiting the side of the block. We are building another motor for a similar drag car (not Aaron's) and are using DM I-beam rods with 625+ bolts.
Over the last 3 years I have learnt alot but what works with these motors and what does not and thats why we build some of the most responsive motors in the industry :D
Cant tell all the details but that motor had alot of custom ish in it that I am going to apply here very soon ;)

Haha any pictures of the build sam would be interesting how someone can go about doing such a amazing build...Be good to see what you can come up with when we had our chat,At 11,00rpm that would be rather interesting as id shit my self on a 7krmp Limiter lol
