Can I repaint the serial ones or do I need to buy a different one from dealer and repaint them?
Anyone tried this before?
I've been told that you get a better finish if you buy some dull black ones from a lower Ibiza model rather than paint the existing ones.....something I'd like to do when I have some other spraying to do.

in etka I have a remark Available also in colour - is this true. My deares says it's not.
I had my original (silvery) bumper strips repainted more than a year ago. Still looks like new/stock.

I remember Dr Flapper telling me you rip off the old ones (which don't come out without a fight) and buy new ones (cheap) and get em' resprayed.

ye the original Cupra ones come coloured with a sparkle sprayed over coating - easiest option is to rip em off and get some std black ones painted as the cupra glittery ones are a crap base to paint over - flakes WAY too easy
Surfer_D - the painted option is anthracite as listed for Cupra only
Etka is a wonderful thing to play with ;)

It seems that they did a good job at the paint shop, as mine is flawless even after a year.
