Was very happy, R-Tec phoned me and said my Green Cotton Induction Kit was in stock ....so 2day I went down

.....Got home, Instructions were in FRENCH & it didnt fit cos those chimps had ordered me a single point injection kit, rather than a multipoint injection kit

....so anyway, to prove to them I wasnt just an incompetent kid with a spanner ...they took my car into the garage & confirmed da problem.

Got home .....saw the bonnet wasnt even shut properly, and I was doing average speeds of 80 - 90mph on the A1 & M25 ...could have been quite dangerous!

.......got a full refund, never going back! Nuf said, complete terd

 R-TEC

Are you 2 guys coming to the SEAT meet in Hatfield on Sunday??

14:00 @ Galeria MacDonalds.

I have only had good experiences with Extreme (when the Ripps were owners), and now R-tec.......

Oh bugger. Shall I or shall I not trust them to fit a new set of F1's onto my car in two weeks time then?

Maybe I'll give Elite a buzz instead...even if they are further away.

Not having any cowboy mechanics work on my car thats for sure.

Dave, how do you know Rippy? He sponsered a Car Event that I can ran last year and as you say he aint the brightest tool in the box when it comes to cars but then again neither am i lol!

Lee, I have had some stuff done at Elite in Rainham and they are fine...watch the Speed Camera just outside tho!

X Treme have always been okay and half the staff left X Treme to go to R Tech so its no different really!

Recently, R-Tec also gave myself and a mate crap quotes. They reckoned £100ish for lowering springs and labour, then the next time we were in, quoted £160ish :repuke:

Also sold my mate rear clusters imported from Germany, which means the single reverse light he has is on the wrong side!! They didnt think 2 tell him?!?!?

Elite looks wikkid, very much the same kinda place as Pro-Tyre on the A10, which I recommend.

For electrics, I recommend In Car Electronics in Edmonton, on Turkey Street. Top people, both companies have a good reputation by word of mouth, which is what I will rely on in the future, for future mods.

You were very lucky i know a chap who had a shitty saxo lowered there. Whilst driving home the power steering pipe that had been left laying on the drive shaft by R-Tec expired nice.
