Seat Servicing Offer

Seat UK are currently running a prepaid service offer.
For a prepayment of £299.00 the next 2 scheduled services are covered, this includes standard consumables and filters etc.
If the service specifies brake fluid change this is also covered.
It will not cover items like tyres, brake pads etc.

As this is a Seat UK offer, the servicing can be carried out by any Seat dealer, only problem for me was having to visit my dealer:(

Offer closes end of month I believe.

We worked out that I will save around £200.00 :) or to put it into perspective bring the service costs more into line with non franchised garages.

I managed to get 2 years free servicing when i got my Exeo. That saves me about £350ish over the 2 years.

I just paid £93 for an Independant Service, instead of the £185 Seat wanted.

However, £299 for the 20k and 30k services sounds quite good, as the 20k is the 'big' service IIRC, which is ~£250 at my local dealer. Haven't got the spare cash to pay for it this month, as I've only just paid for the 10k service! :lol:

Still cheaper to go Independant though ;)

I agree that Independant is cheaper and it may be the new regulations will result in more manufacturers service specials.

I decided to take it up as i'm already over half way to my next service so will 'use the money' relatively quickly, but also it enables me to get the odd warenty niggle looked at same time.

Mind you apart from a delivery broblem with boot lock, have only had a strange fault with radio. Much much better car than my Altea SE.

This deal was offered to me this week by a Franchise Dealer in Preston - is it still current then?

£299 seems cheap for a major service and the second oil service - are they worth it?:confused:
