The epc light came on today in 20vt ibiza, i was useing the wipers and washers a great deal at the time, it illuminated for 30-60 seconds and went out and has never been on again, there was no loss of power and the car seems fine. I looked at the external casing on the ecu, it was damp from the use of the washers/wipers. I mopped the excess water off it and sealed it in a clear plastic cover and taped it up. Anyone think this could have been the cause and would you visit the dealer to see if a fault code is present?.
