Fitted my new Tuningbox from Tuningbox.com today first impressions was that it lost a little of its bottom end torque,I would say its only a few hundred revs higher but its noticeable but once it hits 1800/2000rpm it really lifts alot stronger all the way to 4000rpm,I would say that's about 6/700rpm better than before.Do you guys think that's when a remap comes in to its own giving a strong lift say from 1200/1300rpm all the way to 4000rpm:cheers: Gordon

You will never really get anything at 1200, mine pull ok from 1700rpm right round to 5000rpm. So i would say it was at the top end i really got the benifit. I was pushing out 330lbft at 2550rpm.

Agreed, my benefit has been mainly at the top end but also at about 1100-2000rpm the difference has been noticeable

I just felt that when it was STD you could just about put your foot down in any gear and,say nip out into a gap at a roundabout that wasn't really their, without fumbling about with the gear stick ( maybe that says more about me than the car LOL)

Just got my origional dyno graphs out and there is no question the standard car had more torque right up to around 2000rpm then the remap does its stuff 200lbft to 330lbft in 500rpm.. Wow that was fun...
Anyway never mind the 944T will have atleast 330lbft before the end of the month.
