Tell me about it, the sticker has been bugging me but i keep forgetting to remove it
Nice, I'd love to own a 130 hp TDI!
But you really gotta do something about the yellow dialrings, they don't go with anything! :(
BTW, what happened to the gorgeous León TS? :(

I've actually got used to the yellow dialrings now:) I've heard that they are a pain in the bottom to remove (ie you WILL break them trying to remove them) to will have to put up with them.
I want to buy a house next year so had to get a car that was cheap to run mate, therefore the Leon had to go
Leon:
20-25 MPG
Group 16 Insurance
Ibiza:
45-55 MPG
Group 7 insurance
I'm also saving money on my monthly finance payment and on road tax. Overall i'll be saving approx £3,000 per year by having the Ibiza:eek: Add that to what i could already save myself and it goes a long way to a nice deposit on a house.
Once i get the house sorted, i hope to eventually get another fast car, perhaps the next generation Leon if its any good. I also really like the Nissan 350Z. Anyway thats not gonna be for about 3 years so i'll leave those thoughts for a while:p ;)

I knew me mentioning a new car would get you here Ian:D :p Don't worry mate it won't be for a long while.
Oh and sooty IS fast enough but as i should be keeping this one for a while (sigh of relief from my mum & dad, girlfiend etc), i might just look at getting Revo/AMD/Jabba to have a poke around with it in 18 months-ish - when my license is back to normal;)

I noticed that just after my last post.
The one rattle i do have (for now anyway) is on the drivers door - it appears to be generated by the speaker. When i hold the door lock pin it goes away - i'll have to have a look at sorting this out soon.

Ahh.. the beginnings of a concerto of rattles, squeaks and funny creaking noises!

I've got that too. Except its in both front doors, and the cubby holes in them. For me at least, with the stereo on , at an audible volume they resonate with some frequency which is present in all the music I listen to (from Dj Zinc, to Pink Floyd.. :o ).
Solution: stuff with stuff so they don't resonate, and the noise goes away :D

Thats what i'll have to try and do mate. I fancy trying to Dynamat (sp?) the door and a few other bits too, just to try and quieten things down a bit but i suspect it'll not be cheap.
Out of interest mate, would you happen to have a part number to hand for you bulbs? If not, no worries, its just most of my driving at the moment is in the dark (and in unlit areas) and find the lights absolutely pathetic. How much of a difference did you find they make?

Ifind they make a lot of difference as my sig says, you can actually see where you're going with them, as opposed to having to guess before :S
