My warranty expires next week, and as a consequence, I will need some breakdown cover. Does Seat offer breakdown cover post warranty, or will I have to go to a recognised dealer like The AA/RAC etc..

Thanks

Steve

...try Britannia Rescue - they use local garages as opposed to their own fleet and IME are far quicker than the big names.

At work we use the RAC for out of hours breakdown cover and more than once a local garage has turned up instead of an official RAC liveried van, same with the AA apparently I was once told, they outsource the work sometimes.

All the big breakdown insurers will have websites so best check who's offering the best deal.

Absolutely. I have been with the AA for years and I've had a third party both times I have been recovered. It's always an AA van that comes to try to repair at the roadside though (and they have to do that, even when you say "I know what's wrong, there's a hole in my sump so you will have to recover it...")

:eek2: £600!

2 years Subaru extended warranty was about £450 IIRC.

Still, even £6,000 might be worth it for you, Chris :D
