View Full Version : K-9 dog smell . How do i get rid of it.

i bought a car last December and everything was okay untill the wheather strated getting hot then the the car would smell like hell.
ive tried meguires, autoglym, fabreeeze, and even ahad the car seats washed. but i have my suspicion that the smell might come from the floor carpet.
please can anyone help me.:confused::confused:

Dilutes as well, leaves a lovely apple smell.

Not coming from the air vents is it? Might be your pollen filter needs changing and your air con system needs a flush and re fill etc.
I use Autoglym odour eliminator on fabrics.

I dont think so. The hot weather seems to activate the smell

Tray of untreated charcoal in the car, it absorbs adour. And your sure its not the vents?

Febreeze is good for getting all sorts of smells out of your car.
Spray on all carpet, fabric seats, headliner, etc. Shut the car up for 10minutes, then turn the A/C on to circulate through. Works a treat.
