how much you willing to spend?
different types of upgrads mate, 80 quid would see you lowered and slightly stiffer, where 300 would have you lowered and have uprated shocks, for near a grand you can have adjustable everything setup.
Myself, i have a cordy 2.0 16v which was standard, then Pi springs, allegedly giving -40mm more like -60 in reality after about 10k. now im back to standard height for a while so that my new f2 bumper doesnt hit every stone on the road, but am now saving for eibach springs and billstein shocks, pretty much the best setup for the cordy/ibiza, thats the setup that costs around 300 sheets. I think as far as springs are concerned you get what you pay for.

Dont want coilovers, just uprated dampers and shorter springs. Money isnt a problem; if summats dear u just save harder!

What im after is opinions of different stuff from people, how much it was etc. then i can make a decision.

Thanx for the reply by the way!!

PS. Anyone ever tried Kumho (is that how its spelt?) tyres?

i had a spax sprint kit on my 1.8 16v which was a -40mm kit.

ride was obviously stiffer but handling was much better.

cost me £215 for the kit and fitted myself

(only thing i've noticed on this forum is not many people seem 2 us em, don't know why ?)

youve seen my car mate, thats lowered 40mm with bilstein kit from sjbsport (www.sjbsport.co.uk)

Kuhmo tyre are actually quite good, friend of mine had a set on a 1.6 PUG, works ok-ish in wet and dry, not bad for the money!

michilin pilots,sx as they are also known, are hard wearing, in my experience they are easy to get spinning and lac traction in heavy rain, but again they last forever, my rear tyres, never rotated lasted 33k, and i mena punishment!!! some on here will testify!!
