My day at the Autosport show

Well it started badly - i'd picked my mate up, was on my way to the girlfriends house to drop her off and ran something over on the motorway (very BIG bang). It all felt ok until i pulled off the motorway when it felt a bit strange but i thought it must be my imagination. Got to her house to discover the rear passenger side tyre flat:mad: so had to start changing my wheel at 6.30 outside her house:devil:

Anyway finally got down there and saw some fantastic cars eg: Zondas, Farbouds, Gallardo, Astons, new TVR Sagaris! etc etc.

I personally thought that the Live Action Arena was not as good as it has been. I paid £10 to see some stoopid cars thrashing around, not Tiff and a load of girls prancing about. The highlight was the Rallycross cars though - VERY impressive.

I'm sure i saw Mr Sheerin in the Live Action Arena too:confused: Wasn't sure though so didn't say hello.

Overall i think the show is being targeted at the masses rather than the motorsport peeps so IMO has lost its edge slightly now. I'm also still knackered from battling through though the crowds too!

I was in a grey polo shirt carrying a black and white Sparco kit bag ...(Bought the kit bag at the start of the show and spent the day filling it..:) )

I was going to call you and see if you were going but I seemed to think you were going on Friday for some reason...

Which showing were you at mate? I was at the 3pm showing on Saturday sat on the side where the cars exited - i'm 99% sure it was you but it only registered when you'd walked past.

I was at the 3pm showing too..block 1 seat v25...same side as you Ali....

was I that embarrasing you had to deliberately avoid me..was it the medallion the shorts or the Hawaii shirt that scared you off...or my post xmas stomach saddlebag:(

I'll have to get you up to Harrogate to join Harry , Magnus and I on one of our beer testing sessions...

went out with harry a week or so ago and his lass gave me a lift in with him..about one oclock he says our lass is here now...so I waved him goodbye and carried on dancin' with the totty..when he left I suddenly realised i'd missed my lift home...:p

oh well bit more dancin' and a chips with salad and mayonaise...no more kebabs for me I'm reformed..

Deffo up for this mate. I think next month is a possibility - one of my mates wants to go up to Harrogate soon for a session, he's just waiting for payday. I'll let you know mate:cheers:
