after looking around looks like the dynatwist is a good airfilter to fit on my 20VT ibiza and i want a DV07 also.
but i want the opinions of those who already installed that thing + have a forge DVO7 installed?
whats the sound and does the engine works better? whats the main improvement from that DV?
if there a other filters an DV to place tell me pls.
greetz
I have just fitted a dynatwist to my ibiza. I only have a standard dump valve thought. I fitted the cold air intake into the stock position which is through a piece foam under the wheel arch. Needed to drop wheel arch liner to do this (not difficult). In this position you can hear the dump valve when changing gear - a nice subtle whoosh. Apaprently chipping will make this louder as more boost is created. The car feels to pull better through the rev range although I have not dynoed it. It is reported that on a chipped car a dynatwist will add approx 7bhp and 13lbft of tprque which is good gains in my opinion. It also tidies the engine bay up nicely. I am pleased with it and would definitely recommend it.

so i if understand correctly, also with the standard DV you can hear a swoosh sound if you have the dynatwist installed?
I have a forge dv007p and used to have a dynatwist. Neither made any difference at all (sound or power), so I got rid of the dynatwist.
The filter might be useful if you are going for serious power increase, but other than that, it just looks nice!
The dv doesn't add any power or noise, it just doesn't leak boost like the standard one does.

so if you got rid of the dynatwist what you have installed now?

I have both a dynatwist and Forge 007 DV, on there own they don't sound that impressive. However once i had my car revo'd the whooosh became much louder, so much so you could hear it from inside the car without the windows down. In my opinion the sound is just right, not too lound and not too quiet. hope this helps

Really? When I had mine Revo'd it didn't make that much difference at all to noise. Obviously, the whole engine is louder, but I still can't hear anything from the dv.
sorry mate got confused, i didn't mean that the DV itself made any noise just that the combination of dv + dynatwist + revo increased the whooosh effect (made by the induction kit). if that makes any sense.
When I installed the air intake pipe into the factory position under the wheel arch I oucld hear the whoosh on all gear changes - subtle but audible with the stereo off. Can definitely hear it ok with out changing the dump valve. When I had the intake pipe just resting inside the engine bay I couldnt hear it very well - only slightly in first on snooth roads. Can hear it ok under the wing though now.

so madmax, you say i should put on a dynatwist? if i put holes in the standard airbox wouldn't that make a bit the same noise? won't hear that woosh tho, but ill should have more airintake.
I am personally happy with mine and would recommend it. I cannot comment for anyone elses experiences with the dynatwist but using the stock air intake I tink it helps performance and makes a nice subtle noise. In the end the decision is up to you. Then if you decide to get chipped in the future, the induction kit should further help the chip performance and also creater a slightly louder dump valve noise. Good luck with your decision

that stock intake, whats that actually? you get that with the dynatwist or not?
Stock intake is the original intake that came with the car. The original air box as such. The original stock intake air feed would be where the original air feed for the stock intake is routed i.e. throught the wing and into the wheel arch.
