Hi,
New to this forum, but am on a few other car forums.
My dad has an 05 Altea TDI Sport with climate.
Recently, he has noticed the engine fan running more and more. I had put it down to having the Air con on when the car was static. But have noticed tonight, that even with the climate control turned off totaly, the engine fans are still cutting in and out.
The coolant temp is showing a steady 90C (normal)
I can only assume thet it is either a faulty engine temp switch or:
that it is related to an air-con pressure / temp issue.
Anyone have any experience of this on any of the models or indeed any of the VAG TDI's??
Is this a common issue?
