I visited Jabbasport yesterday for a new cambelt/waterpump and also a custom remap on my Octavia vRS TFSI (same engine as Leon FR). Initially I was thinking of just getting the cambelt/waterpump done and then waiting for a while before getting the car remapped, but I thought while I was there might as well get it all done!
I left Jabbasport and told myself to take it easy so I joined the new Crowland bypass and just set the cruise control to the speed limit to resist stamping on the loud pedal. This lasted about 2 roundabouts and then I decided to unleash the throttle in second gear exiting a roundabout in the dry, the poor traction control light didn't know what to do! I didn't realise the difference between standard and remapped would be so big. Very impressed with how the car drives the pull in every gear puts a smile on my face and even though I was sampling the new power I still achieved 38mpg on the way home.
A big thank you to Jabbasport for spending the whole day on my car and staying on late to get everything finished.
The car had the following parts fitted before I turned up at Jabbasport:
-Neuspeed Pflow intake
-SFS Intercooler hoses
-Precat removed from standard exhaust
-Rev D diverter valve
-BSH Catch can
Here is the graph:
