In one month my H&R coilover kit will arrive. I was wondering what is the recomended drop on beeza to have the best driving spec.
How much is the max safe drob before the wheel bumps in the arches.
I really need this - any help is apprechiated.
Thanks
P.S: This is what I'll get:

This is the part number: 29470-2
That's the kit I've got.
When I fitted it, I set the collars to be in the middle of the thread but when it came off the jacks it was almost on its sump. The rears with 20mm wheel spacers would touch over most bumps and I thought it looked stupid being that low. There was absolutely no dive under braking though. I gradually raised it up in 10mm steps until it looked right and stopped touching the arches. The ride improved as it was raised. I have no idea what the drop is as I didn't measure the standard suspension. I'd estimate that it's no more than 40mm with 20-30mm between top of 205/25/16 tyre and wheel arch. Seems to align ok but has neutral front camber - wheel place claims there's no room in the bolt hole to get any more -ve. When I get around to it, I'll check that out for myself as I'd prefer to run 1 deg -ve.

Ho do you like H&R - any bad experiences?
Are you running standard cupra 16' wheels?
So I'll try with 40mm drop on 17' alloys and I'll see how it goes.
Thanks m8
To others with different brands:
How low do you drive your beezas?
Well I run the H&R PCS Coilovers (height and rebound adjustment). The problem I have is with the rear of the car being at standard height even after setting them as low as they would go and taking out the helper springs!!!! H&R did send a new set of rear's but the same problem exists and now I'm waiting on them again to try and sort it out. This has been going on since last summer!!! Other than the ride hight on the rears I can not fault the kit esp when it comes to trackday's. All in all if they sort out my ride hight I'll be recommending the kit to anyone but untill that time...
Whats the damage on the bute's £££???
I'v been toying with the idea for a while. i got 17" wheels and rear 15mm spacers and when fully loaded the arches rub. so me thinks either need stiff shocks or lighter friends.
hmmm I think I got my PCS kit for around 1000-1100 yoyo's, I do know that it was cheaper the the PSS9 kit and they are pretty much the same. I normally prefer not to remember how much the mods/running costs add up to...

I don't understand your issue with the rear hight being standard. Is the coilover damaged or why can't you set it any lower.
Do you thing this is a standard mistake at H&R's coilovers for beeza or is it just in your case.
Your answer will decide what I'm after. :)
I can get KW or H&R both for the same price.
