Go onto SEAT UK website mate they have the accessories on their. They are made by MOMO for SEAT so the price is about £70 IIRC:eek:
how do you remove the gear nob without trashing it?

According to my SEAT dealer the gear knob im on about does not fit the MK2 Ibiza, but i think he is spoofing me. If anyone has any pics of better than standard knobs fitted could they post them please
give me 10 mins, i'll take a pic of my nob, and post it.
u can then print it off, and show it to ur dealer, and ask him how i can unscrew my nob off without hurting it.
i mean damaging it.

that's almost identicle to mine (colour wise, it's spot on)
currently, i've just changed the head unit to a MP3 player, got some 6x9's to fit in a stealth shelf (planned for next week), fitted a strut brace last saturday.
gona swap the wheels in about a months time.
I've got a momo gear nob to fit, so that's why i need to know how to remove this standard one off without damaging it, cos it's quite nice.

If you got the integrated leather gaitor and knob, just lift off the base of the gaitor and then twist the knob. It's got a small amount of loctite type adhesive so you'll meet a small amount of resistance.

The dials are silverery white. What engine size is your Ibiza as the rev counter on a 1.4 only goes up to 6k rpm IIRC whereas these go up to 7k or 8k on the 16v. There may have been a TDi spec with a 6k version of the silvery dials (perhaps in europe tho)
Edit: also the speedo will have different intervals on higher spec cars. However if you buy the whole dial set rather than just the faces they should work ok I'd guess.

I would be interested in the whole set. but im a 1.4 so where does that leave me? Any part number out there?

If you buy the whole thing I would imagine they would just plug in and work, although you'd have an extra 1k revs on the counter that you could never reach!
I'm sure someone will be able to find the part no. Would be expensive though I would imagine. It might be best to keep a look out in the scrapyards, or just buy an after market white dial kit.

ps you can probably get foils for the equivalent Polo instead of forking out for a new set of clocks/dials.
