hey guys,

When i got my car was informed that it was running a stage 2 jabba map, the car is standard engine wise apart from a 160 air intake, and you put in an uprated clutch. I thought that it would be running close to 190 bhp and 320 torque, as i was going to get a milltek and a fmic and come back for a map tweak. However i went to a rolling road day at AMD and it came out at 170 bhp and 300 torque, just about:(. If i get my exhaust done and come back to you will you be able to map it to stage 2 again? or if it hasnt been done get it done? would i need a fmic to get close to top end of 190 bhp and 335 torque?

Hi Chris,

i dont think you'll ever see 190bhp from a PD130 turbo, about 180 is going to be your max, that's with the turbo flat out with fmic, de-cat exhaust system etc.

If you wanted 190bhp you'll need a PD150/160 turbo and a FMIC.

thought with those mods and your map stage 2 i could get close to 200bhp
(not 290 lol hybrid would sruggle getting there lol)

No, 190bhp on a standard PD130 turbo isn't practical, let alone reliable.

Like i mentioned before, at least a PD150 turbo with the FMIC etc will get you nearer to the 200bhp mark..

oh right so if i upgrade my turbo thats the only way id see 200?

Alright brad your diesel cant have been 190 then haha

I had mods such a bigger injectors, fmic and full straight through exhaust, turbo was whirring before I got rid of the car ;)

Pointless sticking a standard 150 unit back on, hybrid is the true way to get a reliable 200+bhp

have to agree brad, most i've since with pd130 turbos its about 185 on rollers with fmic , str8 threw exhaust n better intake systems n pd150 aint much better best thing if gona spend money is take u turbo of to get hybrid work done, i've sin a fabia vrs running 266 bhp with no other mods standard fmic (was smoky doe so better to get one).

Strugers1 off here was running a standard pd130 turbo on his leon tdi130 with a fmic, straight through exhaust and ran 193.6bhp 322ftlb with a jabba map
