Bought myself some of this the other day, I have to say it does exactly what it says on the bottle. Basically its clear, volatile, slightly waxy liquid that you polish onto the windscreen and any other glass surfaces. When dry it causes any standing water to bead up and, at any sort of speed, run off. The result is you can have the wipers on intermittant when you'd normally have them on full speed, particularly on the motorway.
Cost about £5.50 from any good motor accessory store or Halfords ;)
It's superb when it's fresh. It won't be looking so clever in a couple of weeks.
I have some but I can rarely be bothered to use it any more. Also it seems to encourage misting of the outside of the windows on cold mornings, so you end up having to use the wipers, and that's wears it off all the quicker.

Always fancied it but always shied off when I read the bottle and saw the labour involved..:(
Suppose its got to be worth it on the side windows and electric mirrors though;) :)
Just use car wax instead and save a few £££. I use some cheap wax to do the wheels and glass.

I went one step further... I bought a bottle of it, but I've never gotton around to applying it. Looks like hard work to me! :D

You put wax on your glass? Theres absolutely nothing worse than wax on your glass... it either makes everything look smeary, or it becomes so shiney that oncoming headlights etc become a nightmare.
In fact, thats the reason why I never chose the wax options on a petrol station car wash, as I did want wax but not on the screen (Note thats on my previous cars... I don't put the Cupra through a dodgy petrol station car wash!).
Cheers
Ben
I admit the labour involved may seem like a lot, but I used to use the stuff on my previous car, fantastic. Hardly needed to use the wipers on the motorway, as all the water just ran off.
Its been a lifesaver for me recently too since the wipers on my cupra packed up!!!

Works for me. Only a fine wipe mind, it's not like I smear it on leave for a while then polish off. Do the headlights too.
I've done a number of motorway journeys (80mph) in heavy rain with my wipers off :) The water just beads and runs off.
Fantastic product. Does take a while to apply, but then again so does waxing.
Goot :)
I rate it too. No wipers for me on the Mway. :)
As above - it is only hard work if you put too much on and it is a bugger to get off.
