For loudness then try the GFB 50/50 or Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port, louder still will be the atmospheric HKS SSQV which I believe is the only atmos valve to please the 1.8T.

Why, do alot of DV's not like the cupra engine or something?

Because the 1.8T relies on the air from the dv flowing back in

The ECU is programmed to expect recirculated 'boost' air back into the intake. When the doesn't happen, i.e. an atmospheric valve releases the air into the engine bay, the ECU thinks that you have a boost leak and for safety of the engine, retards everything and puts you in limp mode.

The hks ssqv is also looking quite expensive. Is tiss noise really worth all that money?

I ran a GFB 50/50 and it was ok but then I ran a HKS SSQV and I was blown away...the noise is amazing and no running issues at all
