At some point this week a bl00dy great stone must have flew at my car, and luckily it hit one of the £20 a pair headlamp protectors which appears to have absobed the impact and deflected the stone..

..unfortunately the protector is 'well cracked up' :( but still just about hanging on tho! :p

This would most definately have been a new headlamp cluster (and also maybe some other bodywork or windscreen if the protector hadn't have deflected the stone) so  fen for the protectors! !

I must get a pair of those fitted. The number of times Ive had to replace headlamps- not cheap.Foglamps are even more vulnerable and cost a lot too- tho I dont think you can get protectors for them, can you?

Glad they were of service. I washed my cab roday and spotted that it has a massive star in its drivers side headlamp, and they're down most of the time. Still, if they had been down there would have been a dent somewhere I guess.

Yup, better it be the light than the bonnet or wing I suppose :(

How much are they from Seat Dealers ?

I'd hate to think what trouble I'd have trying to replace my Xenon H/L units when they're not standard fit in the UK...

in theory it shoudnt be much of a problem. probably just a 3 day wait as the parts obviasly wont be stocked at milton keynes. (i no the warhouse has moved, but everyone still says MK)

My dad left some of these in his office off his old Leon before he got his Toledo, and has shown no sign of fitting them, looks like i'll nick them off him, as i dont really wanna be buying a new light should that happen to me.

:D :)
