Just seen this on briskoda and uk-polos.net and wondered if anyone had any info as to whether us Mk4 owners will be able to fit it? It appears to be DIN sized and maybe quite useful compared to the slot we currently have.

I saw toXXin was on uk-polos.net and was interested in one - you got one yet mate - if so how much are they and whats the part number as i fancy getting one

Nope! :)

Looks interesting, but bet it won't have the curvature of our centre dash and the plastic will undoubtedly be of a higher quality :p

the curve was my first thought, but it does look to have a curve on it so you never know.

LOL you woke me up this morning Ian, that might be why I was grumpy! :p

I enquired at my local Skoda garage a while ago and was told it would cost something like £45 for this part. I decided against it and lived with the cubby hole. Now my cubby hole's broken, a blanking plate is on back order.

Mmm, would it fit though Tom and in your opinion would it look wrong (due to the quality of the plastics as Ian says and the curve)??

I've got my "no smoking" money that i've been saving and feel another blow out is on the cards soon. Might go to my local Skoda dealer to see one in action!

Don't forget the whole "buying a house lark" :p

If you go to a Skoda dealer, some 'real life' pics of the tray thing would be good :)

I know mate, but this money i'm saving from not smoking is purely for blowing on sh1te - whether for the car, a night out or whatever. My expenses from work are going towards the house:p

Not sure whether to blow this lot of money on my car or my mountain bike as it needs quite a few bits and pieces:think: TBH i think it'll be the bike as otherwise it'll never get done. Think i should leave the car alone (apart from cheap bits) for a while otherwise i'll get carried away;)

Save your money and put it towards something else, like a better head unit, some decent suspension or some decent speakers.

£45 for something you're unlikely to use is silly. Eibach lowering springs are only £105+delivery.

Good point mate, i think £45 is a bit steep and will go some way to the bits i need for my bike (which i think i'll be ordering tomorrow after a re-think)
