Heatshield and extras for LCR mk1 please :)

Wondering about pricing and availability on the heatshield kit for the leon mk1 cupra R. Basically wanting everything included in the kit on your website apart from the filter (wanting to run a jetex filter and the heatshield) Cheers, Will.

Hi Will,

The kit, minus a filter comes out at £144 plus postage. Or £200 plus postage for a full kit.

Both prices include VAT..

The reason we moved from Jetex to K&N is because they changed the rubber shore at the bottom of the filter which mounts to the MAF straightener tube, this made the rubber very perceptible to splitting after very little usage.

Ok, thanks for the info on that, would you advise to stick with the k&n filter then?? Performance wise are they similar? I was told the Jetex was a good quality high flowing filter - is the k&n just as

this happened to mine, they tried to tell me i had just mounted it wrong, I would not use there products again.

K&N is just as good, which is why we swapped over to them. We did flow and oil draw-through tests and found them to be like-for-like..
