Went to my local scrappy today - Silverlake near Fareham (Hampshire).

Whilst contemplating some Cupra seats I stumbled across a W reg VW POLO.

Looking inside I noticed that it had a tinted interior light and looked really subtle and sporty.

I purchased said light (the whole unit) and to my surprise it is an exact replacement to the one on my MK2 IBIZA.

I now have a really sexy tinted interior light with a blue bulb and I must say it looks 100% better than the original clear SEAT one!

I am a happy bunny and it only cost me 50p - what a bargain!

While there I picked up a new oil cap, washer cap, steering fluid cap and power steering fluid cap - same as the original ones BUT I have just sprayed them silver instead of the original blue and they look fantastic!

Scrap heaps are the way forward!

is amazing what you find lying about - my local has an old sierra Xr4i with a turbo technics twin turbo conversion in it

apparently due to be installed in their delivery transit :p mmm jubbly

The VW model number for the whole internal light unit is:

6NO947105D

I simply popped the tinted lense out and replaced it with the plain clear lense in my ibiza - it really does look fantastic and is a straight swap!

I am considering some cupra seats from a W reg Leon Cupra that has been hit hard on the front, seats are fine tho!

Yes mate, I ended up with a fractured femur - near my knee cap, thankfully it healed pretty quickly - just as well cos I am going snowboarding in Italy in 10 days time!
