Hi guys

Some of you may know me from the Mk1 Leon threads.
I was involved in a RTC last year and due to a hostile witness I could not prove it was not my fault, despite it not being!

Well a bit late for me now but I have found this product that would have been a great help.
Its not too expensive £150.
I am only just starting out with it but thought this video guide might be of interest to others.

Pretty interesting! I like that it records the shock events (and some time around it too I guess)

I was chatting to a car reviewer the other week ( does work for msn etc.) and he said alot if cars come with black box,s, that bloke in America with the toyota who said his car accelerated And he couldn't slow it down , apparently toyota read the box and he only ever so slightly pushed the brake pedal!

I was lookign at a roadhawk after a recent accident where it was the other drivers fault and were arguing about it. Fortunately i have a witnes in this instance who co-oborates with me.

They're a little pricey though, but worth it if your excess is high!

You can also get a couple of apps for you iPhone but the only problem is they don't have hte shock sensor so are always recording or you have to start the recorder manually, which isn't very useful!!

Yes I have seen them, much more detail gps etc but the Blackvue DR300 that I use is just £150 and provides all you really need.
Not that good with number plates at speed but you can call out any details for the audio recorder on it.
I have two now and have been very pleased
