Finally got back from the dealer and they have fixed my power loss issues.

Now oddly enough when they first diagnosed it they came to the conclusion that it needed a new MAF which made sense. They had talked about a diverter valve being faulty but came to the conclusion that it wasn't that, nor was it a leak in one the intercooler pipes.

So i was suprised to be told when i picked it up today that it had a new diverter valve fitted and a vehicle speed sensor fitted (unrelated to the power problem)

So my question, what is a diverter valve, is it another name for a dump valve?

In a word, yes. (it's a recirculating dump valve)

bugger, i've been sitting here experiencing all this power loss while waiting to have the car checked out and i could have simply fitted my Forge007P.

Bah!

oh well thats next on my TODO list, then i can switch the Revo software back on too. In a bid to increase my fuel economy mind.

Speaking of which, should i grease the Forge from new or is the grease that comes on it when new enough?
