Is this possible?
I've seen its an option on new Exeo's

As I have chosen the xenon package mine will have the LED rear lamps... providing the wiring connection is the same I can't see why you can't change them...

Speculating here slightly, but I'm aware that if you change the bulbs to a non-standard type (different voltage etc), then you will get a bulb warning error on the dash. Maybe there's a software upgrade required if they don't have the same power draw. Something to think about...

Did this on my A4 with no warning on the rear but got one for the front. you can get LED's with resistors built in I think.

Quick question on this thread .... on the LED rears, are the indicators LED too, or is it just the tails?

The read rear lamps, fog lamps and brake lights are LED... the indicator and reverse are normal bulbs.. ;)

Does anyone have an idea of the cost of swapping out for LED units at the back? I have xenons up front but no LEDs at the rear... Dec 2009 car if that makes a difference...
