I've tried in vain to find somewhere that will sell me a Remus centre pipe for my 8v but to no avail. Any recommendations?

I bought my back box from the local boy racer shop but they can't seem to source a centre pipe. I don't think there is one listed specifically for the 8v, but the 16v one will fit.

it's a bit bigger diameter piping on the 16v one 55mm vs 50mm mate

Elite used to be the imports of remus if that helps - sell to joe public too

Oh. Well I'll try Elite anyway and see. My back box is for 16v and went straight on - is the difference in diameter at the cat end then? I thought 20VT systems went straight on so assumed it would fit?

20vt ones are 55mm too

maybe you just compressed it enough :)

When I bought a Supersprint centre pipe (8v fitment) it rattled around and was loose as was too small. This caused lots of scratching of heads and confusion at the garage/boy racer shop who had to take it back. Could my car be a parts bin special or was the supersprint centre pipe just crap (my diagnosis at the time)?

Shame they didn't put the 280mm brakes on it as well - would have saved me the bother!

Did Kev have a 20VT system on his 8v? If so did he have to mod anything to get it to fit?
