Hi Jabba folks,

I've already got a Jetex cone filter with a silicone hose and alloy coupler but have decided I'd like to get one of your heatshields that you sell with the above as your induction kit. Can you give me a price for the heatshield please? Also, does it come with whatever I need to fix it in place (I'm assuming it screws in to the same places the OEM airbox does)?

Finally, delivery costs for the above to Aberdeen, Scotland?

Cheers

Hi,

The panel comes out at £65 plus vat and delivery.

If you drop us a call on 01733 211446 and ask for carole she'll give you a full price and take your details..

Thanks
Kev

OK cool, does that include whatever stuff I need to fix it in place, e.g. bolts etc?

Cheers

Well got paid today so just went ahead and ordered anyway, Carole was very helpful, explained that FedEx may charge extra carriage cos I'm north of the border but didn't hear back from her so presume it's OK. Hopefully get this at the start of next week, got a rolling road day on Wed would be nice to have a little 'bay bling for it :)

Cheers for the help, I'll post back once I've got the shield.

Its a great piece of kit. Looks good and is very functional too. The only heatshield for the 1.8T that works. This kit will give great consistancy to back to back runs. I really rate mine.

Mine arrived today, thanks very much Kev, Carole etc! Managed to fit it in about 10 mins after work with only a streetlight to see what I was doing, that's how easy it was.

One question though, am I supposed to be able to use the OEM air feed pipe that runs from that bit on the back of the headlight? Thought I'd read somewhere in someone else's thread about these heatshields that you could but I couldn't see how to get both bolted to the threaded bit in the inside of the nearside wing, and the cone filter itself gets in the way of the end of the air feed pipe.

Hi,

You have to remove the standard feed and cut the end down so it's flush with the side, you basically cut just before the mount bracket so you can still get it mounted.

If i find any pics of this i'll post them up..

Cheers
